CNDomestic Tourism Fair held in Karakalpakstan
A domestic tourism fair was held on the shore of Lake Akchakol in the Ellikkala district of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, dedicated to September 27 – World Tourism Day.
The fair was organized on the initiative of the Tourism Department of the Republic of Karakalpakstan in order to increase the tourism potential of the regions, attract local tourists, expand the export of tourism services, and create opportunities for cooperation between local tourism companies.
Local tour operators, hotels, hostels, guest houses and other experts in the field of tourism took part in the domestic tourism fair.
The festival included an art exhibition, a concert of national musicians, traveling museum exhibitions and ecotourism presentations.
Also, during the event, the participants were thanked for their contribution to the tourism industry, and were presented with letters of thanks and valuable gifts.
