On May 6-8, 2022. The festival of electronic music, art and science "STYKHIA" in the Muynak district of the Republic of Karakalpakstan together with the Ministry of Tourism and Cultural Heritage of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Faculty of Acoustics LLC is being implemented. The festival was held on a large scale for the first time in 2018-2019 and 2021, and this year the festival is being held for the fourth time and it would not be an exaggeration to say that it has become a unique cultural and entertainment event in Central Asia.

There are 3 scenes in a specially organized festival which is techno, progressive and ethno. The number of musicians (DJs) willing to take part in the festival has increased fivefold compared to previous years. Within the framework of the festival, it is planned to launch additional projects for the development of Moynak. The number of guests who attended the entertainment event doubled compared to the number of visitors to the previous festival. The guests warmly welcomed the brilliant performance of local artists from Karakalpakstan and Uzbekistan at the festival.

The main goal of the festival is to increase the flow of tourists to our country, activate domestic tourism, focus on the region and search for solutions to existing problems, create a unique public event in the Central Asian region and other significant events in the field of tourism.

In recent years, the tourism sector, like all other industries in our country, has been developing rapidly. In order to develop domestic tourism in the country and attract foreign tourists, our government is implementing a number of solutions, projects and supports new initiatives. Today, our country has sufficient tourism potential to attract a large number of foreign tourists from all over the world during the tourist season.

Separate tourist destinations are the cities and districts of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, which includes Nukus, the Chimbay district, the southern part of Karakalpakstan (Ellikkalinsky, Turtkul and Beruniysky districts) and, of course, Muynak district. These areas have a special tourist destination due to the tourist potential of the region and its unique environment.

In order to attract a large number of tourists in recent years various cultural and entertainment events were organized, such as the ethnic festival "Navruz" in Muynak, the International Festival of Electronic Music, Art and Science "ELEMENT", the extreme rally "RALLY-MUYNAK" on the Ustyurt plain. These events not only attract a large number of visitors, but also play an important role in attracting the attention of the world community to the environmental tragedy of the Aral Sea.
