MALA forum was held in the Tashkent region with the participation of representatives of neighboring countries
On March 25 of this year, the Parkent district of the Tashkent region was visited by representatives of the tourism sector, business entities, and media representatives of the Sughd region of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Osh region of the Kyrgyz Republic.
Initially, a meeting was organized at the Edelweiss Hotel, located in the Parkent district, and the tourism potential of the Tashkent region was presented. Then B2B meetings took place between the event participants. Representatives of the tourism sector of the Sughd and Osh regions expressed great interest in the tourism potential of the Tashkent region.
An agreement was reached on permanent and continuous cooperation between the regions in the field of tourism. As a result of the forum, about 30 agreements and memorandums of cooperation were signed between the tourism departments of Tashkent, Sughd and Osh regions and business entities. After this, information tours around the Parkent region were organized.
The forum participants also visited the shrine of “Hazrat Ali”, located in the Kumushkon MFP. There, guests were provided with detailed information about the history of the shrine and the flow of tourists, and were also given a tour of the family guest houses.
During the information tour, the guests got acquainted with the activities of the only scientific laboratory in Central Asia, the Institute of the Sun, located in the Parkent district, and got a complete picture of this laboratory.
