MAL“Grape Festival” and “Winemaking Festival” will be held in Zarkent
From September 15 to 16, the International Grape Festival and Winemaking Festival will be held in the village of Zarkent, Parkent district, Tashkent region.
The organizers of the festival are the Ministry of Agriculture, the Ministry of Culture, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Tourism Committee, as well as the Khakimiyat of the Tashkent region.
Embassies of foreign countries in Uzbekistan, representatives of prestigious international organizations, specialists from large and leading companies in the field of winemaking, as well as media representatives are invited to the festival.
Within the framework of the festival, scientific conferences will be organized with the participation of experienced industry specialists, fairs of grapes and agricultural products of our Republic, exhibitions and tastings of wine products, a republican competition for the nominations “Best Grape Variety” and “Best Wine Product”, gastronomic streets, show programs and gala concerts with the participation of famous pop stars.
The purpose of this festival is to demonstrate the tourism potential of our country, to ensure a worthy place for the brand of our national product in the world market, to popularize the ancient experience of viticulture and winemaking, as well as unique types and varieties of horticultural products.
Entrance to the main square of the Grape Festival is free for guests.
