In order to widely promote the country's tourism potential in the markets of East Asian countries, representatives of the tourism industry of our country are taking part in the Halal Fair Jakarta tourism fair, which takes place on August 4-6, 2023 in Jakarta, Indonesia, through the presentation of the national stand of Uzbekistan.

This year, the Uzbekistan stand is represented by the Tourism Committee, the State Unitary Enterprise "National PR-Centre" and travel companies, including Orient MICE, East Asia Point, Farhan travel, Euroasia Travels, as well as media representatives, which will further increase the awareness and coverage of Uzbekistan's tourism potential.

During the international fair, members of our delegation will present many new and exciting tourist products. The focus will be not only on traditional attractions, but also on exploring the gastronomic potential of the country. Visitors to our national stand will have the opportunity to see firsthand the skill and taste of Uzbekistan's culinary heritage, the preparation and serving of their favorite national dish – pilaf. This exciting experience aims to interest visitors, leaving an indelible impression of the rich cultural and culinary heritage of Uzbekistan.

In addition to demonstrating its tourism offers, the delegation actively participates in negotiations with potential partners and well-known organizations. The goal is to attract them to participate in the Tashkent International Tourism Fair TMTYA-2023, which will be held in November this year in the capital Tashkent.

A meeting was also organized with the Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy of Indonesia, Sandiaga Salahuddin Uno, during which a conversation was held on the development of tourism between the two countries.

It is important to note that the Halal Fair Jakarta provides visitors with an invaluable opportunity to broaden their horizons and get acquainted with the rapidly developing halal industry in Indonesia. This fits perfectly with Uzbekistan's emphasis on halal tourism, offering the delegation promising opportunities to enter this market and establish fruitful ties in the Halal tourism sector.
