In order to encourage our citizens and a number of foreign citizens who have contributed to the development and popularization of tourism in our country, creating favorable conditions for foreign and local tourists, widely promoting the existing tourist opportunities in the domestic and foreign markets, on the basis of the relevant resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the award "Turizm fidoyisi" was established.
Today, December 27, in the building of the Tourism Committee, employees of state agencies, public organizations, business entities, social sphere and mass media, as well as compatriots abroad, who made their contribution to the successful achievements of the sphere for the past year, were awarded.
The awards were presented by the Minister of Ecology, Environmental Protection and Climate Change A. Abdukhakimov and the Chairman of the Tourism Committee U. Shadiev.
