Imom Ota village of Khodjaabad district of Andijan region was awarded a certificate confirming the status of "Tourist Village".
Representatives of the Tourism Committee, the leadership of the regional and district administrations, the public and media representatives took part in the ceremony held in Imom Ota village. In Imom Ota village, which has rich tourism potential, work is systematically carried out to establish high-quality tourism services for local and foreign tourists.
During the event, guests visiting Khodjaabad district took part in the "Domestic Tourism Fair" organized in the village of Imom Ota. The fair featured an exhibition of national handicrafts by local artisans, presentations of new cooperation projects in the field of domestic tourism, and also organized B2B and B2C meetings between entrepreneurs, consumers and government agencies.
In addition, an Open Dialogue was held within the framework of the fair with the participation of tour operators, travel agents, accommodation facilities (hotels, hostels, guest houses) and other representatives of the tourism sector working in the field of domestic tourism. The meeting discussed ways to increase the tourism potential of the region, as well as the possibilities for further development of cooperation in the field of tourism and the economy.
