The grand opening of the international national pop art festival “Dunyo Sadolari” (Echoes of the world) was held in Khanabad.

On July 19 of this year, the opening ceremony of the international national pop art festival “Echoes of the World” was held in Khanabad, Andijan region.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, The Minister of Culture and Tourism Ozodbek Nazarbekov opened ceremony with introductory speech and welcomed participants and guests of the festival:

“In recent years, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev has paid great attention to the development of culture and art.

In particular, extensive work is being carried out to promote our national culture on a global scale, to discover talented young people, and to popularize the art of modern pop singing. I think it will be appropriate to cite some examples in this regard.

The launching the contest of modern pop singers named after one of the founders of our national pop art is People's Artist of Uzbekistan Botir Zokirov, the establishment of the National Pop Art Institute named after Botir Zakirov, the reduction of the amount of social taxes paid by artists, and the financial support of composers and composers to create new pop works were the most important innovations of the new era of reforms.

As a result of such a wide range of opportunities, interest in pop art has increased among our people, especially among young people, and new creative teams and singers are rising.

By winning honorable places at prestigious international festivals and competitions, they make a worthy contribution to the world's recognition and promotion of Uzbek national pop art. In the future, work on this will continue consistently.

At this point, let me mention an important news. On the initiative of our dear President, the National Pop award named after Botir Zakirov has been established for talented young singers.

From the current year, this festival is held once two years.
