Kuala Lumpur hosted a presentation "Travel together through Uzbekistan" and a B2B meeting with the participation of travel companies from both countries

The Embassy of Uzbekistan together with the Uzbek-Malaysian Business Council, the Umrah and Hajj Malaysia Tourism Agencies Association presented a presentation on the potential of our country in the field of pilgrimage tourism on the topic "Travel together in Uzbekistan" and organized a meeting of tour operators of the two countries

The event was held in Kuala Lumpur to familiarize the tour operators of this country with the tourism potential of Uzbekistan.

The events were attended by representatives of more than 180 Malaysian travel companies, local media, famous bloggers, employees of the Tourism Committee of Uzbekistan, managers of domestic travel companies "Travel together," "Binkat Travel and Tours," "Travel Factory," "Euroasia Travels," as well as airlines "Uzbekistan Airways" and "Batic Air Malaysia."

Ambassador of Uzbekistan Karomiddin Gadoyev told the participants about the reforms being carried out in our country, systemic measures to develop modern tourism infrastructure, conditions for foreign tourists.

Representatives of the travel company "Travel together" presented tour packages for historical and tourist centers of Uzbekistan, Bukhara, Samarkand regions and the city of Tashkent, including programs "Cultural tourism," "Pilgrimage tourism," "Umra+," "Gastrotourism," "Business tourism" (MICE) and others.

Representatives of "Uzbekistan Airways" and "Batik Air Malaysia" provided information about the services provided to travelers to Uzbekistan, including direct flights of airlines operating between Tashkent and Kuala Lumpur.

It was noted that as a result of the simplification of the visa regime, in recent years, a visa-free procedure has been introduced for citizens of more than 90 foreign countries, including Malaysia.

During the B2B meeting of tour operators of the two countries, an exchange of ideas took place on tourism programs and increasing the flow of Malaysian tourists to our country.

The rich cultural heritage of Uzbekistan, historical cities and shrines, the hospitality of the Uzbek people aroused great interest among Malaysians.

As part of the event, an exhibition sale of national handicrafts, applied arts, light industry and silk products from the members of the "Hunarmand" association was held. To demonstrate the potential of Uzbek gastronomic tourism, Uzbek national cuisine was prepared.

As a result of the event, agreements were reached to launch new tour packages, promote and increase the flow of tourists to the republic within the framework of direct cooperation between tour operators.
