On December 15-16, 2024, an info tour was organized for representatives of local and international media, as well as bloggers, in order to draw attention to the tourism opportunities of the Navoi region and stimulate its further development.

Participants of the info-tour got acquainted with the outstanding historical and natural monuments of the region, as well as with tourist routes that will help improve the infrastructure and create attractive conditions for attracting investment in the tourism sector, which, in turn, will affect the economy of the region.

As part of the info tour program, significant historical sites included in the UNESCO World Heritage List, such as the Kasim Sheikh Complex, the Mir Sayyid Bahrom Mausoleum and the Rabat-i Malik Caravanserai, as well as cultural monuments, including Sardoba and the Mavlono Arif Deggaroni Complex, were visited. In addition, the journalists got acquainted with the modern tourism opportunities of the region.

Navoi region attracts more and more tourists thanks to its unique natural and historical attractions. In 2024, the region was visited by more than 420 thousand foreign tourists, which is twice as much as the previous year.

New tourist routes have been developed here, including a 340-kilometer-long “tourist ring” that covers more than 60 sites such as Nurata, Karmana and Kiziltepa. In addition, the number of tour companies and routes has increased significantly, which contributes to the improvement of tourism infrastructure and attracting investment in the industry. These efforts, along with the opening of health facilities and the development of an ecological tourism map, make Navoi region an important part of Uzbekistan's tourism industry, stimulating its economic development and increasing interest among both local and international tourists.
