The potential of domestic tourism is presented in the village of Sangardak in Surkhandarya region

An internal tourism fair, an "Osh sayli" festival and an exhibition of national crafts were held in the village of Sangardak, Sariosiyo district of Surkhandarya region.

The events, organized by the Surkhandarya regional administration and the regional tourism department, were aimed at attracting the population to the tourist sites of the oasis, supporting entrepreneurs in the field of tourism, familiarizing consumers with tour operators and travel agents, as well as popularizing national dishes and handicraft products.

Within the framework of the fair, round tables were held, B2B, B2C meetings with tour operators, enterprises, organizations from the regions of the republic working in the field of domestic tourism, and an exchange of experience took place. Mutually beneficial agreements were also signed with Tajik businessmen who arrived to further strengthen tourism ties with their partners in the region.

Also, in the tourist village of Sangardak, interesting competitions on the preparation of national dishes, master classes of experienced chefs were held. Also, in the sanatorium "Sangardak," located in the heart of the majestic mountains, various exhibitions, a fair of handicrafts and national souvenirs reflecting national values were organized. The participants got acquainted with the presentations of hotels, sanatoriums, theaters and museums.

The press tour to the sights, shrines and recreation areas of the Sariosiyo district, organized for journalists and bloggers, was full of impressions.

Theatrical performances, a rich concert program with performances of famous artists and performers of the Tajik, Russian and Turkmen national cultural centers aroused great interest among all.
