In the Republic of Dagestan of the Russian Federation, a presentation of the tourism potential of Uzbekistan and B2B meetings between tour operators of the two countries were held.
Initially, the Uzbek delegation met with the Minister of National Policy and Religious Affairs of the Republic of Dagestan Enrique Muslimov.
Enrique Muslimov extends his respect to the Uzbek delegation and praised the potential of pilgrimage tourism in our country. At the same time, the Minister noted that he supports the high level of development of Uzbek-Dagestan relations.
The meeting was also attended by the First Deputy Mufti of the Republic of Dagestan Ahmad Haji Kakhaev, who acknowledged the important role of world-renowned scholars such as Bahauddin Naqshbandi, Imam Al-Bukhari, Imam At-Termizi in the Islamic world. Ahmad Haji Kakhaev said that after the visit he was very pleased with the development of pilgrimage tourism between the parties.
In addition, during the visit, the delegation met with the Mufti of the Republic of Dagestan, Chairman of the Central Spiritual Administration of Muslims Sheikh Ahmad Haji Abdullayev. The Mufti stressed the need to further strengthen bilateral cooperation through the development of pilgrimage tourism, as well as the development of educational tourism on religious knowledge.
The Dagestan side invited Habibullah Salih, a well-known Uzbek calligrapher from our delegation, to hold advanced training courses for Dagestan teachers and master classes for students in calligraphy.
Afterwards, a presentation of Uzbekistan's tourism potential and a master class on calligraphy were held at the Historical Park in Makhachkala.
The event was opened by Adviser to the Chairman of the State Committee for Tourism Development Utkir Saidov, followed by a presentation by the head of the National PR Center under the Committee Djamshid Babadjanov - a presentation, a master class by a well-known calligrapher Habibullah Salih.
It should be noted that the presentation and master class aroused great interest among the audience.
B2B meetings between tour operators of Uzbekistan and Dagestan also confirmed the interest of Dagestanis in our country. These meetings were attended by about 30 tour operators from Dagestan, who strengthened cooperation with Uzbek tour operators.
At the end of the day, our national dish pilaf was prepared by skilled chefs of the Association of Chefs of Uzbekistan and presented to the people of Dagestan. Dagestanis praised the taste of pilaf.
