From April 9 to 11, a series of "Road show" events were held in Lahore, Karachi, and Islamabad to promote Uzbekistan’s tourism potential. The events were organized by the Tourism Committee of Uzbekistan with the support of the Government of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Islamabad, tourism companies, business representatives from the hospitality and travel sectors, and local media.

The events were attended by the Chairman of the Tourism Committee Umid Shadiev, Managing Director of the Pakistan Tourism Development Corporation Aftab Ur Rehman Rana, and the Ambassador of Uzbekistan to Pakistan Alisher Tukhtaev.

The program featured a presentation highlighting Uzbekistan’s diverse tourism opportunities, including pilgrimage, mountain, winter, and culinary tourism. B2B, G2B, and G2G meetings were organized between tour operators and officials from both countries. Uzbekistan Airways also presented its services to the Pakistani travel market.

During the presentations, special attention was given to the rapidly developing sectors of pilgrimage and mountain tourism in Uzbekistan, as well as the country’s rich culinary traditions.

Agreements were reached on implementing mutually beneficial projects to increase the flow of Pakistani tourists to Uzbekistan's historical pilgrimage sites.

The "Road show" concluded with a cultural program featuring performances by Uzbek artists and a presentation of the country’s gastronomic heritage.
