CNRepresentatives of the travel company and bloggers of Oman got acquainted with the tourism potential of Uzbekistan
At the initiative of the Tourism Committee, a group of tour operators and bloggers from Oman visited our country from October 15 to 22 this year.
During their visit to Uzbekistan, the foreign delegation explored the attractions and tourist sites in the Samarkand, Bukhara, and Tashkent regions, as well as the city of Tashkent.
On the first day of the visit, the delegation went to Samarkand. The guests visited the city's landmarks and learned about the region's tourism potential. A meeting was held between the Tourism Administration of Samarkand Region and representatives of the tourism sector from the Sultanate of Oman. Representatives from 12 tour companies operating in the Samarkand region also participated in the meeting. The parties discussed ways to strengthen cooperation and increase bilateral tourism flow, and B2B meetings were organized.
During their visit, the foreign delegation also became acquainted with the modern conditions and infrastructure created for skiing and snowboarding at the Amirsoy ski resort in the Tashkent region.
Additionally, a visit to the city of Bukhara was organized for the delegation from the Sultanate of Oman. On the first day of their visit, the guests explored the Lyabi-Hovuz ensemble, shopping centers, the Poi Kalon complex, Ark Fortress, Chor Minor Madrasah, and several historical sites in the historic center of Bukhara.
