MALSky Camp Bostanlyk: the first outdoor festival has started in the Tashkent region
September 18-19, 2021, in the Bostanlyk district of the Tashkent region, on the territory of the Amirsay mountain resort and the “Chorvoq ormgohi” camp, the organizers of the sports competitions “Samarkand half marathon” and “Zomin Ultra” - the Foundation for the Development of Culture and Art under the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Uzbekistan, together with the Ministry of Tourism and Sports, the administration of the Tashkent region and the Bostanlyk district, organized the first outdoor sports and music festival Sky Camp Bostanlyk.
The festival was officially opened by Deputy Prime Minister-Minister of Tourism and Sports of the Republic of Uzbekistan Aziz Abdukhakimov.
“We have started to further increase such mass sports events and strengthen the desire of our people for sports, prepare the population for a healthy lifestyle and develop sports tourism, " Aziz Abdukhakimov said in his speech.
In this competition, which was attended by more than 100 athletes, all athletes over the age of 18 will tried their hand at such sports as: cycling, swimming, running and yoga.
The sports program of the races included the following areas:
Sky Camp Run – a race to the top of the mountain at a distance of 4 km (vertical kilometer);
Sky Camp Bike-mountain bike race for a distance of 11 km;
Sky Camp Swim – swimming on the territory of the Charvak reservoir at a distance of 1 km;
Sky Camp Zen is an event that combines three types of activity: yoga, a 5 km race and meditation.
