In order to improve the efficiency and simplify border control procedures, taking into account the standards and recommended practices of the International civil aviation organization (ICAO), a mandatory procedure for providing advanced passenger information by all foreign aircarriers are being implemented in Uzbekistan.

In this regard, the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan adopted the Resolution
No. 293 of May 19, 2020 “On approval of the Regulation on the procedure for providing advanced passenger information by the foreign aircarriers to the border authorities of the State Security Service of the Republic of Uzbekistan”.

According to the Decree, from July 1, 2020, all foreign aircarriers operating flights to the Republic of Uzbekistan will have to provide passenger-related information to the border authorities of the State Security Service (BT SSC) in the standard format of ICAO.

The work with the passenger-related information will be carried out according to the system developed by the border authorities of the State Security Service of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

The implementation of this procedure will create additional facilities for foreign tourists while their arrival, staying and departure from the republic.
