As part of the "Youth Tourism Week," young people in Samarkand, Bukhara, and Khiva had the chance to enjoy unforgettable hot air balloon rides, offering a vibrant and productive way to spend the New Year holidays.
This event was organized by the Tourism Committee in collaboration with the city administrations and the Federation of Aeronautics of Uzbekistan to draw the attention to domestic tourism and create new opportunities for active leisure. The event became a significant part of promoting Uzbekistan's historical and cultural heritage, providing a unique opportunity for the young to enjoy panoramic views of ancient cities.
From December 30, 2024, to January 2, 2025, more than 15,000 people participated in this celebration near the Gur Emir Mausoleum in Samarkand and in the "Shahriston" Square in Bukhara.
