In collaboration with the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Japan and the Nara City Hall, an advertising campaign has been launched to promote the tourism potential of our country, on 16 monitors at the main railway stations of this city (Nara Terminal, Nara, Shin-Omiya, Yamato-Saidaiji, Heijou, Takanohara, Amagasuji, Nishinoke , Ayameike, Tomio, Gakuen-Mae, Nara Tomigaoka) free of charge. Videos are shown every 6 months, starting in November, every day from 06:00 to 23:30, every 5 minutes.
The videos were prepared on the topic “Uzbekistan - the pearl of the Silk Road” and showed historical and modern objects of the cities of Samarkand, Bukhara, Khiva, Shakhrisabz and Tashkent.
12 stations with tourist videos are located near Nara's historical monuments. Also, according to the Japan Tourism Committee, about 10 million foreign tourists visited the city of Nara in January-October this year. In this regard, this advertising process will serve to promote the rich tourism potential of our country not only for the residents of Nara, but also for many foreign tourists.
