Tourism potential of Uzbekistan showcased at FITUR in Spain

The Tourism Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan, with the aim of widely promoting the country’s tourism potential on the international stage in 2026 and increasing the inflow of foreign visitors, is participating with the national stand of Uzbekistan in the international tourism exhibition FITUR, taking place from January 21 to 25 this year in Madrid, Kingdom of Spain.

FITUR (Feria Internacional de Turismo) is one of the world’s largest and most prestigious international tourism exhibitions and has been held annually in Madrid since 1981. Today, it has become one of the leading professional platforms of the global tourism market.

This year, representatives from more than 160 countries and over 10,000 companies are taking part in the exhibition. The event is aimed at fostering innovation in tourism, ensuring sustainability, and strengthening international cooperation.

Within the framework of the exhibition, the delegation of the Tourism Committee, together with 10 leading tour operators, is widely presenting to the international community the rich cultural heritage, tourism potential, and modern tourism products of Uzbekistan.

During FITUR, B2B meetings and cooperation negotiations are being held with international tour operators, airlines, leading media companies, and investors. Presentations are also organized to promote Uzbekistan’s tourism brand and increase the flow of foreign tourists.

As a result of the exhibition, new partnerships are expected to be established and Uzbekistan’s tourism image on the international market further strengthened.
