The tourism potential of Uzbekistan is widely promoted on Russian TV channels

On June 22-28, the Tourism Committee organized a visit the creative group of the popular program “The Lives of Others” of the TV Channel One to Uzbekistan.

For filming, the creative team under the leadership of the host of the program, Zhanna Badoeva, visited the sights, tourist sites and historical places of Samarkand which will help widely promote the tourism potential of Uzbekistan in Russia and further increas the number of tourists from this country.

During the filming, the Minister of Ecology, Environmental Protection and Climate Change of the Republic of Uzbekistan Aziz Abdukhakimov spoke about the tourism potential of our country, tourist destinations, pilgrimage tourism, gastrotourism, ecotourism, ethnotourism, agrotourism, medical tourism, holy places of pilgrimage, cultural heritage, architectural monuments, museums, recreation parks, tourist village, ethnic village, tourist street, sanatoriums.

It should be noted that the Tourism Committee has established close cooperation with representatives of this program, which regularly films its stories in Uzbekistan.

Thanks to this, millions of TV viewers have the opportunity to discover new tourist destinations in Uzbekistan.
