The tourism potential of Uzbekistan will be promoted in Egypt

The Uzbek land has long been famous not only for its beautiful nature and rich traditions, but also for scientists who have made a huge contribution to world nutrition. The nilometer, an instrument that accurately measures the level of the Nile River flowing through Egypt, built in the ninth century, 12 centuries ago by Ahmad Ferghani near Cairo, still serves the Egyptians, while the method invented by our great compatriot, in currently used by all member countries of the World Metrological Organization.

In order to widely promote the tourist and cultural attractiveness of our country in Egypt, familiarize the world community with the potential of pilgrimage tourism in the cities of Tashkent, Samarkand and Bukhara, on September 15-21 of this year, a visit to Uzbekistan by a guide and responsible persons of the nilometer in Cairo was organized.

The guests visited the state museums of applied art and history of the Timurids of Uzbekistan, located in the city of Tashkent, Mustakillik and Amir Temur squares, as well as the Chorsu bazaar, accompanied by responsible persons, took photographs and received a great impression of our homeland, where the descendants of the great ancestors live.
