MALUzbek athletes will take part in the Asian Arm Wrestling Championship
August, 17 -25, the 19th Asian Arm Wrestling Championship will be held in the city of Alma-аta (Kazakhstan).
The competitions will be held in 5 age categories among juniors – boys and girls under 15, under 18 and 21, among men and women and athletes with disabilities.
The team of the national team of Uzbekistan of 70 people will be led by experienced coaches and athletes, including the head coach of the national team Sultan Nematullayev.
Our country successfully participates in many prestigious competitions, including the World Arm Wrestling Championship in Hungary (2017), the World Championship in Turkey (2018), the Asian Championship in Kyrgyzstan in 2019.
According to the International Arm Wrestling Federation, today Uzbekistan ranks 5th out of 82 countries in the international rating of power sports.
The participation of the Uzbek national team in the Championship is organized by the Arm Wrestling Federation of Uzbekistan.
