Uzbekistan attracts tourists from remote regions of Russia

In Russia, as part of the promotion of Year of Uzbekistan Tourism and to enhance the country's tourism potential, increase the number of tourists from remote regions of Russia, another tourism event called "Road Show" took place in Khabarovsk on August 7th of this year.

At the event, the Uzbek delegation led by Jamshid Abdusalomov, the first Deputy Chairman of the Tourism Committee, met with Alexey Dubov, the Deputy Chairman of the Khabarovsk Territory Government, and Alexander Karev, the Minister of Tourism.

During the meeting, the significance of the visit was emphasized, noting that it is part of a large-scale program aimed at increasing tourist exchange between Russia and Uzbekistan.

The participants were provided with information about Uzbekistan's most attractive destinations, historic cities, and new tourism opportunities.

As part of the "Road Show," B2B and B2G meetings were organized for representatives of the tourism sector from both Uzbekistan and Russia, where important agreements on cooperation between tour operators and government agencies of the two countries were reached.
