Continuing the series of events dedicated to the Uzbekistan Year of Tourism in China, a tourism roadshow was successfully held in the city of Wuhan (Hubei Province). This became the next key stop following the presentation in Fuzhou, aimed at deepening tourism and business cooperation between the two countries.

The roadshow in Wuhan gathered over 140 participants — representatives of tourism companies, government agencies, industry associations, businesses, and media. Presentations organized by the Uzbek delegation covered a wide range of tourism destinations: from cultural and historical heritage to natural diversity and gastronomy. The potential of Uzbekistan as a promising destination for business and event tourism was also showcased.

Special attention during the event was given to the tourism opportunities in the Tashkent and Khorezm regions. Guests had the chance to learn more about the unique architecture, craft traditions, cuisine, and seasonal tours developed for these regions.

A key highlight of the program was the official meeting with the head of the Foreign Affairs Office of Hubei Provincial People's Government. During the negotiations, opportunities for establishing practical cooperation were discussed, including organizing reciprocal info tours, promoting regional tourism, as well as prospects for establishing direct air links between Wuhan and major cities in Uzbekistan.

Within the framework of the event, more than six bilateral cooperation agreements were signed between tour operators from Uzbekistan and China, aimed at developing joint tourism programs and increasing tourist flow in both directions.

The event marked another step in the active strategy to promote the Uzbekistan tourism brand in the Chinese market and to create a solid foundation for sustainable partnership with Hubei Province.
