Uzbekistan is showcasing its tourism potential for the first time at one of the most prestigious international tourism exhibitions—the 46th International Tourism Exhibition BIT 2026 (Borsa Internazionale del Turismo), which will be held from February 10–12, 2026, in Milan, Italy, at the Rho Fiera Milano exhibition center, in pavilions No. 9 and 11.

For information: For over 40 years, BIT has been a benchmark platform for tourism industry professionals, bringing together key players from the Italian and international markets. Every year, BIT brings together thousands of industry representatives, creating an effective platform for business networking, promoting tourism destinations, and establishing partnerships.

BIT 2026 is expected to attract:

- Over 5,000 Italian buyers (travel agencies, tour operators, MICE organizers, online travel agencies, and other intermediaries),

- Over 2,000 international buyers,

- Around 750 journalists,

- Over 8,000 tourism industry professionals,

- Around 7,000 travelers,

- 1,030 exhibiting companies,

- As well as a large online audience: 54,000 newsletter subscribers and 120,000 social media followers.

Uzbekistan's participation in BIT 2026 is particularly significant given the steady growth of tourism interest from Italy. Thus, in 2024, 25,000 Italian citizens visited Uzbekistan, and in 2025, this number increased to 40,800, representing a 163% increase compared to the same period of the previous year.

At the exhibition, organized by the Tourism Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the following Uzbek companies are presenting the country's tourism potential:

- Zumrad Travel

- ANUR TOUR

- AFSONA-TRAVEL

- Silk Road Tours

BIT 2026 will focus on the business program, G2B/B2B/B2C meetings, and the presentation of Uzbekistan's tourist routes for the European market.

Uzbekistan's debut participation in BIT 2026 will be an important step in strengthening the country's international image, expanding partnerships, and promoting Uzbekistan as a promising and multifaceted tourist destination in Italy and Europe.
