Uzbekistan presented its tourism potential at the international exhibition "World Travel Market London-2022"

One of the largest international exhibitions in the field of tourism "World Travel Market London-2022" was held in London. The National Stand of Uzbekistan was organized with the support of the Ministry of Tourism and Cultural Heritage of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the National PR-Centre and Uzbekistan Airways.

A number of travel operators and agencies took part in the work of the national stand, among them: "Marakanda Travel", "People Travel", "Orient Voyages", "International Caravan travel Service", etc.

The ambassador of the tourism brand of Uzbekistan to the UK Sophie Ibbotson took an active part in the work of the stand:

"Uzbekistan is of great interest to visitors of the exhibition. Many people here are very interested in what tourist destinations Uzbekistan offers. This exhibition is an amazing opportunity to show what we can offer to tourists, as well as talk about Uzbekistan."

The tourism potential of Uzbekistan was vividly presented at the stand, visitors of the exhibition received full information about the republic, its rich cultural and historical heritage, including ancient cities and modern infrastructure: airlines, hotels, sanatoriums and recreation areas.

During the 3-day period, Uzbek travel companies successfully held more than 200 meetings with leading foreign companies, and negotiations for 2023 and 2024 were held.

This year, the stands of more than 100 countries and regions, as well as about 2,500 travel companies and tour operators were presented at the event.

WTM London is one of the largest and most popular international exhibitions in the field of tourism, which presents almost the entire range of services in this field. Being the second largest tourist exhibition in Europe (after Berlin's ITB-Berlin), WTM has been held annually in London since 1980. Since 2009, Uzbekistan has regularly participated in the prestigious international exhibition.
