Uzbekistan is a country partner of the Azerbaijan International Travel and Tourism Fair AITF-2023

From 4 to 6 April 2023, the 19th International Exhibition of Tourism and Travel AITF-2023 is being held in the capital of Azerbaijan, Baku.The Republic of Uzbekistan for the first time participates in the Azerbaijan International Tourism Exhibition as a “Country Partner”. The participation of the Uzbek delegation is organized by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the National PR-Centre State Unitary Enterprise, as well as the Embassy of Uzbekistan in the Republic of Azerbaijan, with the support of Uzbekistan Airways JSC.At the opening of the tourism exhibition, on behalf of the Government of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Republic of Uzbekistan to the Republic of Azerbaijan Ashrafkhanov Bakhrom, as well as the director of the National PR-Centre Samandarova Dilfuza spoke.

According to the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan at a conference call on March 29, the Republic of Azerbaijan and Turkey were attached to the Khorezm region in order to attract tourists and increase the export of services in the region.In order to fulfill this order, a large delegation from the Khorezm region is participating in the exhibition. Among which are 7 travel companies, the directorate of Ichan-Kala, representatives of culture and art, musicians, as well as Khunarmands of the Khorezm region.

During the international exhibition AITF-2023, meetings are planned with state tourism organizations, marketing companies, as well as business audiences of representatives of the Uzbek delegation with Azerbaijani tour operators for active sales of sites and familiarization with the conditions for participation in the Tashkent International Tourism Fair TITF-2023, which will be held in November of this years in Tashkent.As part of the AITF-2023 exhibition, an evening reception is also planned on behalf of the Government of the Republic of Uzbekistan, which will include a presentation of the tourism potential of our country, a cultural program with performances by artists of the Khorezm National Ensemble, a demonstration of folk arts and crafts and national cuisine.
