Uzbekistan's tourism potential was demonstrated at the international tourism exhibition "IFTM Top Resa 2024"

On September 17-19, the delegation of Uzbekistan headed by the Chairman of the Tourism Committee Umid Shadiyev is taking part in the "IFTM Top Resa 2024" in Paris, one of the largest travel and tourism exhibitions in the world, which unites hotels, travel agencies, tour operators, online platforms, airlines and other experts of the tourism industry.

At the largest Paris International Exhibition Center "Paris Expo Porte de Versailles," a delegation of Uzbekistan consisting of representatives of the Tourism Committee and the National PR-Centre, as well as Uzbek travel companies such as "Intermice," "Rocket DMC," "Sacred East travel," "Silk Road Explore," "Mega Tour," "Orient Star Group," "Anur Tour," "Marco Polo," "Karavan Travel" and JSС "Uzbekistan Airways" represent the national stand of our country.

Within the framework of the exhibition, the delegation introduces participants to the unique cultural and natural attractions of Uzbekistan, offers favorable tourist packages to attract and increase the number of tourists from European countries to our country. In addition, the delegates will discuss the prospects for infrastructure development and improving the quality of tourism services, as well as establish new business contacts with international partners.

With the support of the Embassy of our country in France, the national traditions, customs and national dances of our country were presented through cultural performances on the stand of Uzbekistan.

During the international exhibition, it is planned to hold meetings with state tourism organizations and marketing companies of France, as well as business meetings of the representatives of the Uzbek delegation with French tour operators on active sales of sites and familiarization with the conditions of participation in the Tashkent International Tourism Fair TITF-2024, which will be held in November this year in Tashkent.

Following the first day of the "IFTM Top Resa 2024" exhibition, the Inaugural Cocktail event was organized, which was attended by more than 300 high-ranking guests. At the event, the Chairman of the Tourism Committee Umid Shadiyev spoke about the tourism potential of Uzbekistan, the attention given by the President and the Government to the tourism sector, changes and opportunities in the industry, and also invited representatives of the tourism sector to cooperate. During the event, the cultural program, consisting of national songs and melodies, gave the participants a cheerful mood. Also, guests who visited the exhibition were presented with a furshet dinner.

It is important to note that this exhibition will provide a unique opportunity for French and foreign guests to get acquainted with the cultural heritage of Uzbekistan, which will allow them to better understand and appreciate the rich history, art, cuisine and hospitality traditions of our country.
