CN"Year of Uzbekistan Tourism in Russia": Vladivostok hosted the tourism event "Road show"
On August 5 of this year, as part of the "Year of Uzbekistan Tourism in Russia", as well as in order to promote the tourism potential of our country and increase the tourist flow, Vladivostok hosted the "Road show".
A delegation of Uzbekistan headed by Jamshid Abdusalomov, the first Deputy Chairman of the Tourism Committee, took part in the "Road show", organized on the initiative of the Tourism Committee and with the assistance of the Consulate General of our country.
"This year, our Committee sets itself the task of increasing the number of Russian tourists to 1 million people. For this, appropriate infrastructures and various air connections are being created. We immediately note that there are currently about 300 flights per week between Russian cities. There is interest between the citizens of the two countries, and I think that we, together with the leadership of Primorsky Krai, will provide all the necessary assistance to travel companies and businesses that work in this direction so that they can come to an agreement,” said Jamshid Abdusalomov.
The event featured presentations of the tourism potential of Uzbekistan. Information was provided on the reforms in the tourism sector carried out in our country in recent years, as well as on new tourist destinations.
B2B and B2G meetings were organized for representatives of the tourism sector of Uzbekistan and Russia to exchange experiences and establish new business contacts, as a result of which bilateral agreements were reached.
A presentation of Uzbek gastronomic tourism with a tasting of Uzbek cuisine, as well as a concert program with the participation of a national musical ensemble, was organized for the participants of the "Road Show".
