The 65th International Flower Festival will take place in Namangan

30.04.2026 8

From May 24 to July 12 of this year, the 65th International Flower Festival will be held in Namangan. As part of the festival, organized by the Tourism Committee and the Namangan regional administration (khokimiyat), more than 150 events of international and national scale are planned, including cultural and educational programs, theatrical and circus performances, gala concerts, fashion weeks, an industrial fair, and other activities.

As part of preparations for the festival, which annually attracts thousands of tourists both from within the country and abroad, efforts are underway to set a Guinness World Records achievement in the category “Largest number of flowers planted by one team in one month.” Work is ongoing in the city to plant more than 150 million flower seedlings of 120 different species.

This initiative is aimed not only at setting a record, but also at strengthening the country’s international image—particularly that of Namangan—improving the environmental situation, fostering a spirit of creativity among the population, and enhancing the prestige of the 65th anniversary International Flower Festival.

The festival will traditionally open with a car parade: more than 200 vehicles of various brands, decorated with live flowers, will drive along the central streets of the city—from Namangan International Airport to the Zahiriddin Muhammad Babur Park of Culture and Recreation—covering a route of over 10 kilometers.

At the Zahiriddin Muhammad Babur Park, festival guests will be presented with unique compositions, design solutions, and decorative installations made of fresh flowers, created by both international and local participants. Each composition offers not only aesthetic enjoyment but also reflects the identity and cultural character of the region.

During the festival days, events such as the international forum “Tourism Potential of Namangan Through the Eyes of Influencers,” the “International Forum of Businesswomen of Asia,” the “3rd International Namangan Handicrafts Exhibition,” the “Kinokaravan” project, the “3rd International Maqom Art Forum,” competitions titled “International Ethnosport Games,” “Days of Indian Culture” featuring a Bollywood show, as well as sports events within the framework of the national mahalla forum under the motto “A Well-Maintained Mahalla is a Well-Maintained Country” will also be held.
