Anvar Alimbayev was born on January 20, 1982 in the city of Tashkent and has been engaged in wood carving for 31 years. He received his first lessons in this art from his uncle, Zinnatulla Alimbaev, who is a national master of the Republic of Uzbekistan. Then he received deeper knowledge at the Republican Center for Children's Creativity and the Republican Art College, where he studied the secrets of woodcarving the famous academician folk artist of Uzbekistan Artyk Faizullaev. Over the years, he has gained fame for his products, which are characterized by exceptional craftsmanship and exquisite designs.

Since 2007, the artisan has been actively presenting his works at various international exhibitions. The list of events in which the master took part includes such as the Days of Uzbekistan in Paris, exhibitions of artisans in America and Turkey, as well as the World Wood Day events in Cambodia and Austria. Today, Anvar Alimbayev continues his work in this noble profession, passing on his wealth of experience and knowledge to more than a dozen students. His dedication and passion for the craft make him not only a master, but also a mentor, inspiring the next generation of artisans to preserve and develop this art.
