Foreign media continue to introduce their audiences to Uzbekistan’s tourism potential. In a new episode of Euronews’ program “Silk Road Adventures,” viewers were presented with Samarkand, Bukhara, Khiva, and the Navoi region — places where the history of the Great Silk Road is preserved in unique monuments inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List.
The episode highlights leading tourist destinations such as Shah-i-Zinda, Bibi-Khanym Mosque, Itchan-Kala, and the historic center of Bukhara, which attract millions of travelers each year. Special attention is given to the Navoi region, home to the monuments of the Zarafshan–Karakum Silk Road corridor, including Deggaron Mosque and the Kasim-Sheikh complex, offering tourists unique routes across the country.
The program emphasizes that Uzbekistan is rapidly strengthening its position as one of the most attractive destinations for cultural and historical tourism. Modern infrastructure, a developed hotel network, and careful preservation of historical heritage make Samarkand, Bukhara, Khiva, and Navoi a region that travelers return to for an authentic experience of the Great Silk Road.
