From March 30 to April 4, 2025, a creative team from China's prominent television channel CCTV-4 visited Uzbekistan to highlight the country’s rich cultural heritage, historical landmarks, and natural beauty to a global audience. The visit was organized by the Tourism Committee under the Ministry of Ecology, Environmental Protection, and Climate Change of the Republic of Uzbekistan and served as a significant step in promoting the nation’s tourism potential internationally.

The delegation’s journey began in Tashkent, where the team filmed a series of programs showcasing key aspects of Uzbekistan’s cultural identity. Their work focused on national heritage, family traditions, craftsmanship, and everyday local life. Notable visits included the Khast Imam Complex and the Kukeldash Madrasa, where the team explored the historical and spiritual importance of these iconic sites.

The guests also visited the Museum of Applied Arts in Tashkent, gaining insight into traditional Uzbek artisanry. They observed the creation of *khan-atlas* silk fabric, along with national costumes and decorative crafts — all integral elements of Uzbekistan’s cultural expression.

The resulting programs will be broadcast on CCTV-4 to millions of viewers, offering a vivid portrayal of Uzbekistan’s natural splendor, cultural richness, and renowned hospitality. This visit not only boosts international tourism cooperation but also reinforces the cultural and friendly ties between Uzbekistan and China.
