Prohibited drugs for import to Uzbekistan

If your health status requires constant use of certain medicines, we recommend you to get acquainted with the list of drugs prohibited for import into Uzbekistan and the rules for their export, import and transit.

The easiest option, if possible, is not to take them with you on a trip.

However, if their use is necessary on an ongoing basis, we recommend you to request analogues from your doctor, that are not listed in the list of prohibited or restricted drugs.

An alternative is to take the maximum amount necessary together with documents confirming the presence of the disease, a statement from the doctor and receipts of the purchase of these drugs over the past few months. All this will be required to prove the importance of using the drug for your health. You should be prepared to provide these documents and go through an interview with border officers at the airport.
