Rustam Komilov was born in 1985 and is a famous artisan from the Suzuk-Ota Mahalla. He represents the fifth generation in his family engaged in handicrafts. His passion and skill for his work were ingrained in him from childhood. At the age of five, he began learning wood carving from his father, who was an experienced craftsman in this field. Under his leadership and mentorship, Rustam Komilov mastered various carving techniques, basic design, and original products. Over the years, he continued to improve his skills, experimenting with all types of carving styles and techniques. The craftsman's dedication to his work and talent quickly attracted the attention of the public and led to his recognition as one of the leading artisans.
Today Rustam Komilov is known for his high-quality wood products, which are characterized by elegance of design, careful attention to detail, and a deep understanding of the traditions of Uzbek crafts. He effortlessly handles products of any complexity, creating everything from carved wooden panels to interior elements. Rustam Komilov skillfully incorporates motifs of grapevine ornamentation, geometric patterns, and traditional designs, as well as images of flowers and birds into his work, giving his pieces a unique appearance.
