Tulkin Gafurov was born in the Shaykhontohur district of Tashkent, into a family of artisans. The family tradition of craftsmanship traced its lineage through three generations, continuously passing on knowledge and skills from father to son. His father Juraboy and grandfather Sadiq were distinguished by their extraordinary skill in wood carving, turning this process into a life passion.

Imbued with the talent and charm of the craft, Tulkin Gafurov joined his predecessors, devotedly immersing himself in the world of art. The guidance he received from his grandfather Sadiq at the beginning of his journey became a peculiar guide for the master, filling his work with love, meaning, and kindness.
