The village of Nilu in Surkhandarya region has been officially granted the status of a "Tourism Village"

The Sariosiyo district of Surkhandarya region, nestled in picturesque mountains, is renowned worldwide for its stunning natural beauty, pristine air, crystal-clear water, the enchanting "Sangardak" waterfall, and other unique tourist attractions.

To the right of the road leading to the "Sangardak" waterfall in the district, there is a village called Nilu. The houses of this picturesque corner adjoin the high mountains. More than 520 families live in the village, with a total population of about 2,500 people. The residents are mainly engaged in horticulture, animal husbandry, and beekeeping.

Representatives of the Tourism Committee and the Sariosiyo District Administration, village residents, media representatives, and social media activists attended the celebratory event marking the granting of tourist village status to the village of Nilu.
