The history, art and traditions of the peoples of the Central Asian region are a storehouse of knowledge, a source of inspiration and spiritual enrichment. A large number of modern and popular museums have been opened in Tashkent, which store unique ancient and modern exhibits reflecting the culture of the region. In many museums, exhibits are presented in chronological order, which is very convenient for visitors, so that you can quickly and naturally immerse yourself in the very heart of Eastern culture during an excursion.

Among the popular exhibits there are many world-famous art treasures that give to every visitor of the museum an unforgettable experience, such as: stone tools and household items of ancient people; objects of the times of Zoroastrianism; artifacts of the ancient times of the Greco-Bactrian kingdom, Buddhist sculptures from ancient temples, unique fragments of the Holy Quran; medieval art, famous paintings from different times, Rishtan ceramics; items of the pre-revolutionary period and modern times.

A large number of people annually look through unique collections of art in Tashkent museums: national and classical paintings, oriental miniatures, graphics, engravings, frescoes, monumental and ornamental wall paintings, photographic materials, written monuments in Arabic, Persian, Turkic languages, books, valuable manuscripts, calligraphic works, rare and unique lithographic publications, archival documents.

Also in the museums of Tashkent among the general public are very popular works of folk art, objects of ancient architecture and works of decorative and applied arts: ceramics, painted dishes, vessels, porcelain, ganch and wood carvings, carved wooden columns, sculptures, minted products and coins, national jewelry, weaving, carpet weaving and hand embroidery, musical instruments, national clothes and headdresses of different historical periods, as well as ancient and medieval weapons.
